In this paper,it introduced the development of tongue diagnosis and then described the research on the acquisition of tongue diagnosis images,pre-processing of tongue diagnosis image information and tongue diagnosis image analysis techniques as well as a review of the clinical applications of tongue diagnosis objectivity in the respiratory system,circulatory system,diges-tive system and endocrine system in the past five years,with the aim of providing reference for the research on the objectivity of tongue diagnosis.
