Guided by the traditional Chinese medicine pathogenesis concept of"Qi-meridian disharmony",and combined with the research hotspot of exosomes in modern medicine,the abnormal exosomes secretion in the pathological process of idio-pathic pulmonary fibrosis(IPF)was investigated.It was believed that exosomes was equivalent to the biological basis of"Qi-meridianl"micro level,which had similar functions with"Qi-meridianl"in promoting qi and fluid(component transfer),sens-ing information(intercellular communication),and warming the body(homeostasis regulation in organs).Further explore the cor-relation between"abnormal exosomes secretion"and"Qi-meridian disharmony"in IPF.It is expected to become a new thera-peutic direction of IPF by using traditional Chinese medicine to smooth the flow of qi and collateral and harmonize the expression of exosomes.It is expected that the use of traditional Chinese medicine to flow Qi and smooth collaterals and regulate the expres-sion of exosomes will become a new therapeutic direction for IPF.
