Objective In this study,the levels of interleukin-8(IL-8)and interleukin-10(IL-10)in the prostate tissues of rats induced by carrageenan were detected,so as to explore the mechanism of Yiqi Tongluo Paizhuo Granules on chronic non-bacterial prostatitis(CNP).Methods Fifty-six SPF Wistar rats were randomly divided into blank group,model group,traditional Chinese medicine control group,Western medicine control group,Yiqi Tongluo Paizhuo Granules high-dose group,medium-dose group and low-dose group.The prostate tissue structure was observed by HE staining.The levels of IL-8 and IL-10 were determined by ELISA and PCR.Results Compared with that of the blank group,the level of IL-8 in prostate tissue of rats in the model group was increased(P＜0.05),and the level of IL-10 was decreased(P＜0.05).Compared with that of the model group,the level of IL-8 in prostate tissue of rats in the administration groups was decreased(P＜0.05),while the level of IL-10 was increased(P＜0.05).Conclusion Yiqi Tongluo Paizhuo Granules can reduce the level of IL-8 and increase the level of IL-10 in the prostate tissue of rats with carrageenan-induced chronic non-bacterial prostatitis,which may alleviate in-flammation by regulating the levels of IL-8 and IL-10.
