Migraine is a common incapacitated primary headache,which seriously affects the patient's work and life.Acu-puncture has been clinically proven to be effective in the preventive treatment and acute phase treatment of migraine.Many schol-ars have explored the mechanism of acupuncture in the treatment of migraine from different angles through clinical studies and an-imal experiments.It is concluded that acupuncture can regulate the levels of trigeminal vascular pathway related substances,im-prove cerebral blood flow velocity,inhibit c-fos gene and protein level and regulate the abnormal connection of brain functional network to treat migraine.
