Sjogrens syndrome is an autoimmune disease in which lymphocytes proliferate and infiltrate exocrine glands.Its pathogenesis is not fully understood.Although western medicine has definite curative effect,it has some disadvantages such as ex-pensive drug price,long drug cycle and many adverse reactions.By summarizing relevant data and clinical data,it is found that Chinese medicine has the characteristics of multi-target,diversified and comprehensive treatment of Sjogren's syndrome,and has distinct advantages in preventing disease deterioration and regulating immune disorders.This article reviewed the progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of Sjogren's syndrome in recent years,and provided new plans and ideas for clinical treatment of Sjogrens syndrome.
