Research Progress of Acupuncture Treatment for Obese Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Obese type 2 diabetes is a disease of the circulatory system and immune system in the metabolic process,which can accelerate the occurrence of stroke and various diabetes complications.Clinical treatment is often oral or injection drugs,weight loss surgery,etc.,but it is difficult to cover the needs of many patients,and the side effects are large,causing irreversi-ble damage to liver and kidney metabolism.Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)is effective in reducing fat and sugar with the characteristics of holistic view and syndrome differentiation.Therefore,this paper summarizes the research progress of acupunc-ture and its combination with other TCM therapies to provide a more green,healthy,safe and effective way to improve the clinical efficacy of obese type 2 diabetes.
