To Explore the Clinical Application of Stagnation Needle in the Treatment of External Humeral Epicondylitis Based on the Theory of Meridian Sinew Holism
The clinical manifestations of lateral epicondylitis of humerus are elbow pain and limited local function. Its symp-toms belong to the category of meridian sinew disease in traditional Chinese medicine. This article discusses the disease from the anatomical basis of the elbow structure and the fascia chain theory, and finds that the diagnosis and treatment method conforms to the holistic thinking of the meridian theory, that is,to find the causal relationship between the tendon lesions of the wrist, elbow and shoulder on the meridian line for the overall treatment.A large number of literature and clinical studies have shown that the treatment of this disease under the guidance of the theory of tendons has unique advantages,As a new type of acupuncture thera-py,lag-action needle therapy combines lag-art and action-art,and the stagnation acupuncture therapy has a definite effect on the treatment of external humeral epicondylitis. Therefore, from the physiological function and pathological state of the tendons to explore the relationship with this disease, the use of the theory of tendon holism combined with stagnation acupuncture can pro-vide new clinical ideas for the treatment of external humeral epicondylitis.
