Effect of ear Irrigation Therapy combined with Acupoint Application on Prostaglandin Level in Patients with Primary Dysmenorrhea
Objective To investigate the effect of ear irrigation therapy combined with Acupoint Application on prostaglandin levels in patients with primary dysmenorrhea.Method 124 patients with primary dysmenorrhea from December 2019 to December 2020 were randomly divided into control group and combined group. The control group was given ear irrigation with alcohol, and the combined group was given ear irrigation combined with acupoint application. The clinical efficacy, pain degree,TCM symp-tom score and prostaglandin level before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results Compared with 77.42%of the control group, the total effective rate of the combined group was 96.77%,which was significantly higher(P<0.05).After 7,14 and 21 days of treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups were significantly lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of lower abdomen cold pain, chilly limbs, dark tongue of the two groups were significantly decreased, compared with the control group, the combined group was significantly lower(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of prostaglandin E2(PGE2)and cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)in the two groups were significantly in-creased,compared with the control group, the combined group was significantly higher;after treatment, the levels of prostaglan-din F2α(PGF2α)and cyclic adenosine monophosphate(cAMP)were significantly decreased, compared with the control group, the combined group was significantly lower(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of ear irrigation therapy combined with Acu-point Application in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea has significant effect, which can significantly reduce the degree of pain and TCM syndrome score, and improve the level of prostaglandin, which is worthy of promotion.
