Re-Discussion on Radiation-Induced Heart Injury from"Dryness"
Radiation heart disease is a delayed serious cardiovascular complication caused by radiotherapy.With the progress of radiation therapy mode,radiation heart disease has increasingly become a key clinical problem affecting the survival expecta-tion and quality of life of radiation treatment survivors.Its physiological and pathological mechanism has not been fully elucida-ted,and there is a lack of effective clinical treatment.On the other hand,traditional Chinese medicine shows great potential in the prevention and treatment of radiation-related injury.based on clinical practice,it is found that the characteristics of"dry-ness pathogen"are completely consistent with the delayed effect of radiation heart disease,such as dryness pathogen attack,body deficiency,loss of body fluid and deficiency of qi and blood.Heart injury caused by loss of osmosis,the basic treatment is re-plenishing qi and nourishing yin,activating blood circulation and dredging collaterals,and remarkable clinical effect has been obtained in the clinical treatment of radiation heart disease.Paying attention to the development of targeted natural traditional Chinese medicine products and promoting the clinical transformation of traditional Chinese medicine is the trend of the treatment of radiation-induced heart injury.
