Study on the Feasibility of Regulating Intestinal Flora by Traditional Chinese Medicine in Treating Perimenopausal Insomnia Based on the Theory of"Heart and Small Intestine"
Perimenopausal insomnia is a common and frequently-occurring disease in women's transition from fertility period to old age,most of which are manifested as difficulty in falling asleep,easy to wake up in sleep,fatigue after waking up,inattention and so on.At present,sedative drugs are mainly used to achieve the therapeutic purpose of western medicine,and drug depend-ence and other drug side effects should not be underestimated.By referring to relevant literature published in recent years on CNKI,PubMed and other databases,this paper found that a large number of studies have confirmed that perimenopausal insomnia has a strong correlation with intestinal flora.And there are also studies to report that traditional Chinese medicine treatment of per-imenopausal insomnia common drugs,common prescriptions are achieved by regulating the balance of intestinal flora.Therefore,this article connects the theory of"heart and small intestine"with four theoretical studies on perimenopausal insomnia,the influ-ence of intestinal flora and its metabolites on perimenopausal insomnia,and discusses the scientific nature of Traditional Chinese Medicine in treating perimenopausal insomnia by regulating intestinal flora.
