The incidence of diarrhea is increasing,which seriously affects the quality of life of patients,and therefore the treatment of diarrhea is becoming more and more urgent.Western medicine mostly uses oral medication as the main treatment,with the main principle of identifying the cause and treating the symptoms,which has the advantage of quick effect and clear pharmacological and toxicological effects.However,they are not effective in treating the accompanying emotional problems and loss of appetite,and lack individualized treatment plans.Traditional Chinese medicine is mostly based on evidence-based tre-ament,emphasizing that the treatment varies from person to person,with a wide range of treament methods,including internal Chi-nese medicine soup,acupuncture,massage,Chinese medicine enema and other treament methods,which can treat both the symp-toms and the root cause,and greatly improve the cure rate of diarrhea.This paper takes the comparison of the curative effect of tra-ditional Chinese medicine therapy and western medicine therapy as the starting point,expounds the advantages of traditional Chi-nese medicine to treat liver and spleen deficiency diarrhea in clinical practice,and provides reference for more doctors to apply traditional Chinese medicine therapy to treat liver and spleen deficiency diarrhea.
