Starting from the theory of"one Qi circulating",this paper expounds the understanding of the etiology and patho-genesis of peripheral facial paralysis,and believes that the middle deficiency is the deficiency of Qi and blood and disharmony be-tween Ying and Wei phases is due to exogenous infection,the deficiency and the exogenous infection make the head and face out of nourishing,and the obstruction of meridians is the fundamental of the occurrence of this disease.Clinically,the core is to nour-ish Qi and blood,make the clear ascend and the turbidity descend,and regulate Ying and Wei phases.Integrated acupuncture is used to treat peripheral facial paralysis,so that the circulation of Qi and blood is smooth.If Qi and blood are full,the meridians will flourish.If the clear Qi is ascending and the turbid is descending,the Qi movement will be smooth.If Ying and Wei phases are adjusted,the meridians will be harmonious,so that the head and face can be nourished.
