With the continuous development of society,the incidence rate of shoulder periarthritis is increasing year by year,especially among middle-aged people.How to get rapid and effective treatment has become one of the most concerned problems for patients with shoulder periarthritis.Related clinical studies have shown that needle knife therapy has significant therapeutic effects in reducing pain and improving joint function,and has become one of the suitable techniques for clinical treatment of shoulder periarthritis in recent years.Many scholars have also conducted extensive research on the treatment of shoulder periar-thritis with needle knife therapy.On the basis of reviewing and organizing a large number of literature related to needle knife treatment of shoulder periarthritis,this article summarized and analyzed the current progress of needle knife treatment of shoulder periarthritis from the aspects of needle knife theory,treatment mechanism and clinical efficacy.The results show that needle knife therapy has significant therapeutic effects in the treatment of shoulder periarthritis,but lacks basic research and still needs in-depth research and exploration.Subsequent research can explore in depth the treatment mechanisms,persistence of therapeutic effects and selection of indications to address the current shortcomings in this area.
