Despite the maturing of endoscopic technology,the treatment of artificial ulcers after endoscopic submucosal dis-section(ESD)and the management of complications is a"fuzzy zone"in the current treatment.Based on traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),the disease can be classified as"epigastric pain","gastric ulcer","clamoring stomach"and so on.The basic TCM pathogenesis of this disease can be summarized as follows,accumulation of blood stasis and toxin due to insufficiency of healthy qi;the blood collaterals were damaged by hyperactivity of heat bringing about rottenness of muscle.In terms of tre-atment,clinicians have used classical prescriptions,self-prepared prescriptions,single drugs,and ready-prepared Chinese medicines from different perspectives to effectively relieve the clinical symptoms and accelerate the healing of ulcers.By summa-rizing the etiology,pathogenesis and TCM treatment of this disease,providing ideas for the Chinese medicine diagnosis and treat-ment of this disease and improving clinical efficacy.
