Overview of the Mechanism of Action of Xiaochaihu Decoction(小柴胡汤)in Digestive System Diseases
Xiaochaihu Decoction(小柴胡汤)is a classic Chinese medicine prescription,first seen in ZHANG Zhongjing's"Treatise on Typhoid and Miscellaneous Diseases",the original can treat Shaoyang syndrome of typhoid fever,women's heat into the blood room,malaria,etc.,after its application continues to expand,long ago far beyond the scope of Zhongjing's original prescription.Today,it is widely used in the clinic for diseases of the digestive system.In this paper,through reviewing the litera-ture on the mechanism of action of Xiaochaihu Decoction in recent years,the mechanism of action of Xiaochaihu Decoction in the digestive system is summarized,and it is confirmed that it can protect gastric mucosa,regulate gastrointestinal motivity,regulate intestinal flora,resist Helicobacter pylori infection,regulate lipid,protect liver and reduce enzyme,and inhibit inflammation.It can promote apoptosis and inhibit proliferation of tumor cells.To summarize the general situation of its mechanism of action,in order to further explore the mechanism of Xiaochaihu Decoction,provide treatment ideas and reference for later clinical applica-tion,and expand the application value.
