Application of Qingfei Jiedu Formula(清肺解毒方)Combined with Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam Sodium in the Treatment Of Severe Pneumonia with Phlegm Heat Obstructing Lung Syndrome
Application of Qingfei Jiedu Formula(清肺解毒方)Combined with Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam Sodium in the Treatment Of Severe Pneumonia with Phlegm Heat Obstructing Lung Syndrome
Objective To observe the application effect of Qingfei Jiedu Formula(清肺解毒方)combined with piperacillin so-dium and tazobactam sodium in the treatment of severe pneumonia with phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome.Method A pro-spective study was conducted on patients with severe pneumonia with phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome admitted to the hos-pital from July 2020 to July 2022.They were divided into a control group and a study group using a random number table meth-od.The control group was treated with piperacillin sodium and tazobactam sodium,while the study group was treated with pip-eracillin sodium and tazobactam sodium combined with Qingfei Jiedu Formula,both of which continued for 14 days.The treat-ment effect,traditional Chinese medicine symptom(fever,cough,phlegm obstruction,wheezing)scores,levels of inflammatory markers[pro Calcitonin(PCT),interleukin-6(IL-6)],blood gas analysis indicators[Oxygen partial pressure(PaO2),oxy-genation index(OI)]and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result After treatment,the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After 14 days of treatment,the traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores of both groups of patients were lower than before treatment,and the study group was lower than the con-trol group(P＜0.05).The PCT and IL-6 levels in both groups of patients were lower than before treatment,and the study group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).The levels of PaO2 and OI in both groups of patients were higher than before treatment,and the study group was higher than the control group,with a statistical significant difference(P＜0.05).During the treatment period,there was no statistical significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion The combination of Qingfei Jiedu Formula and piperacillin sodium and tazobactam sodium has a good thera-peutic effect on severe pneumonia with phlegm heat obstructing lung syndrome.It can significantly inhibit inflammatory reactions,improve clinical symptoms and respiratory function of patients.
