The Therapeutic Effect of Qingwen Qudu Capsule(清瘟祛毒胶囊)on Influenza of Heat Toxin Attacking Lung Type and Its Effect on Interleukin-4 and Interferon Gamma
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Qingwen Qudu capsule(清瘟祛毒胶囊)on the syndrome of influen-za heat toxicity attacking lung and its effect on the balance of IL-4 and IFN-γ in patients.Method A total of 106 patients with influenza fever and poison attack on lung were randomly divided into 2 groups according to the random number table,with 53 ca-ses in each group.The control group was treated with symptomatic plus oseltamivir,and the observation group was treated with Qingwen Qudu capsule for 5 days.The total effective rate of the two groups was compared.The body temperature of the two groups was compared before treatment and 4,48,72 h after treatment.The TCM symptom score,interleukin-4(IL-4),in-terferon γ(IFN-γ)and IFN-γ/IL-4 levels of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.The adverse reac-tions of the two groups were observed.Results After treatment,the total effective rate was 94.34％in the observation group and 83.02％in the control group,which was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The body temperature of the two groups was lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05),and the body temperature of the observation group was signifi-cantly lower than that of the control group after 4h of medication and 48h of treatment(P＜0.05).After treatment,the total scores and scores of cough,sore throat,thirst and headache in two groups were significantly decreased,and the treatment group were significantly lower than the control group(P＜0.05).Significantly decreased IFN-γ and IFN-γ/IL-4 levels,and sig-nificantly increased IL-4 were found in both groups than those before treatment(P＜0.05),and the different was significant be-tween groups for the above indexes(P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was 5.66％in the observation group and 11.32％in the control group.The results showed no significant difference between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Qingwen Qudu Capsule can improve clinical effect,reduce fever quickly,and regulate IFN-γ/IL-4 balance.
