Data Mining-Based the Macroscopic Exploration of Clinical Medication of Chinese Medicine for Post Infectious Cough
Objective To collect literature and establish a database of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for treating post infection cough using traditional Chinese medicine patents,and apply data mining methods to analyze the characteristics and medication patterns of traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for treating post infection cough,providing reference for clinical treatment medication.Method The Chinese patent prescriptions for the treatment of post infectious cough in the patent database of the China National Intellectual Property Administration,as well as the Chinese Journal Full Text Database(CNKI),the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database(CBM),Wanfang Data Knowledge Service Platform(Wanfang),and the Chinese Science and Technology Periodicals Database(VIP)were searched,and the clinical studies on the treatment of post infectious cough by tradi-tional Chinese medicine from June 2023 were established.The prescription database was established using Excel 2021,SPSS 26.0 SPSS Modeler 18.0 software conducts frequency analysis,cluster analysis,and association rule analysis to deeply explore com-patibility patterns.Result A total of 39 patents and 632 literature related to traditional Chinese medicine compound prescriptions were included,and a total of 540 prescriptions were screened.In clinical studies of cough after infection,the common types of symptoms are wind evil invading the lungs and wind cold invading the lungs.Platycodon grandiflorum,bitter almond,purple as-ter and other drugs are commonly used in clinical practice,with phlegm resolving,cough relieving,and asthma relieving drugs being more common;The medicinal properties are mostly warm,followed by cold;The medicinal taste is mainly spicy,bitter,and sweet;The main meridians are the lung,spleen,and stomach meridians.Cluster analysis can be clustered into five catego-ries;The association rule analysis obtained 9 pairs of drug pairs,with 13 items in the drug group including Platycodon grandiflo-rum+Baiqian,Baibu+Baiqian,etc.Among them,Aster → Baiqian+Jingjie has the highest confidence,while Platycodon grandiflorum → Jingjie+Ziyuan,Baibu → Jingjie+Ziyuan have the highest support.Conclusion The medication for cough after infection is mainly warm,starting from the lungs,spleen,and stomach.The treatment is to dissipate phlegm,stop cough,and relieve asthma,combined with relieving external symptoms,clearing heat,replenishing qi,and nourishing yin to enhance the therapeutic effect.
