Premature ovarian failure is a common gynecological endocrine disease,and its prevalence is increasing year by year.The patients with premature ovarian failure are often associated with low fertility or even infertility,and the prevalence of cardiovascular and osteoporosis is increased.It seriously affects women's reproductive health and quality of life.Western medi-cine treatment of premature ovarian failure is mainly based on hormone supplementation,although it can alleviate symptoms to a certain extent,the side effects are obvious,and the patient's compliance is poor.Recent studies have found that traditional Chi-nese medicine can intervene in the progression of premature ovarian failure through the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway.In this paper,the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3 K)/protein kinase B(AKT)signaling pathway and the latest research results on the treatment of premature ovarian failure by traditional Chinese medicine through this pathway were briefly reviewed in order to treat the female premature ovarian failure to provide effective treatment methods.
