Mechanism Analysis of Qiju Dihuang Pill combined with Anti-VEGF in the Treatment of Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy by Regulating cAMP/PKA Signaling Pathway
Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the mechanism of Qiju Dihuang Pill combined with anti-VEGF in the treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy by regulating cAMP/PKA signaling pathway. Methods A total of 204 patients with proliferative diabetic retinopathy admitted to the Ophthalmology Department of Ningde Hospital,Affiliated to Ningde Normal University from January 2022 to March 2024 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group(given anti-VEGF treatment)and experimental group(given Qiju Dihuang pill combined with anti-VEGF treatment)with 102 cases each by random number table method. The efficacy of the two groups was compared. The vision-related indexes, levels of VEGF,Ang-1 and cAMP/PKA signaling pathway were observed before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of experimental group was higher than that of control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the eye-related indexes(visual acuity,IOP,visual field gray value, macular fovea thickness)in both groups were better than before treatment(P<0.05).The levels of eye related indexes(visual acuity,IOP,visual field gray value, macular fovea thickness)in experimental group were better than those in control group(P<0.05).The levels of VEGF and Ang-1 after treatment were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The levels of VEGF and Ang-1 in experimental groups were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,cAMP level was higher than before treatment,PKA level was lower than before treatment(P<0.05).cAMP level in experimen-tal group was higher than before treatment,PKA level was lower than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Qiju Dihuang Pill combined with anti-VEGF can regulate cAMP/PKA signaling pathway and play a role in the treatment of proliferative diabetic retinopathy patients.
