Objective:To observe the effect of modified Yinjia Pills on fallopian tube pathology,CT clearance rate and inflammatory factors IL-10,IFN-γ and TGF-β in mice with genital chlamydia(CT)persistent infection salpingitis.Methods:Thirty-six BALB/c mice were randomly divided into 6 groups.Except for the blank group, the mice in the other groups were inoculated with Chlamydia in the vagina to establish a CT persistent infection model. After successful modeling, the mice were divided into groups and sacrifiiced on the 28 th day.HE staining was used to observe the pathological changes of the upper genital tract of mice. The content of CT in the genital tract of mice was determined by qRT-PCR.The expression levels of IL-10,IFN-γ and TGF-β in serum of mice were detected by ELISA.Results:Compared with the blank control group, the expression of CT gene in the model group was significantly increased(P<0.01).Compared with the model group, the expression of CT gene in the middle and high dose groups of Yinjia Pills and the positive drug(azithromycin)control group was significantly decreased(P<0.05).The contents of IL-10 and IFN-γ were significantly up-regulated(P<0.05),and the content of TGF-β was significantly decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Yinjia Pills could help alleviate the pathological state of salpingitis in mice with chlamydia infection of genital tract and promote the clearance of CT in persistent infection. The mechanism may be achieved by regulating the expression of cytokines IL-10,IFN-γ and TGF-β.
