Objective:To observe the effect of Maxing Shigan Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder in adjuvant treatment of severe pneumonia with wind-heat obstructing lung syndrome.Methods:Seventy-two cases were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,36 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with conventional anti-infection and phlegm treatment,and the experimental group were treated with Maxing Shigan Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder.Results:The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of TCM symptoms in both groups decreased,and those in the experimental group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of white blood cell count and C-reactive protein in the two groups decreased,and those in the experimental group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Maxing Shigan Decoction combined with Yinqiao Powder is effective in the treatment of severe pneumonia with wind-heat obstructing lung syndrome,with less adverse reactions.
