Objective:To observe the curative effect of acupuncture combined with fire needle in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia.Methods:A total of 100 cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,50 cases in each group.The control group were treated with gabapentin by oral administration while the observation group were treated with acupuncture combined with fire needle.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of SAS,SDS and VAS in the two groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the QS scores of the two groups increased,and that of the observation group was higher than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with fire needle could improve the therapeutic effect in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia.
