Objective:To observe the effect of peripheral needle combined with acupoint application in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder.Methods:Eighty cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,40 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with acupoint application,and the observation group were treated with peripheral needle.Results:The total effective rate was 95.00％in the observation group and 75.00％in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the shoulder range of motion,activities of daily living,muscle strength and pain improvement in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the pain grading index,subjective pain and existing pain intensity were lower than those in the control group.The differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Peripheral needle combined with acupoint application is effective in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder.
