Objective:To observe the curative effect of Cansha Powder with hot medicated compress combined with Wangbi Tablet with oral administration in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with cold-dampness obstruction type.Methods:Seventy-two cases were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,36 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with Wangbi Tablets orally.The control group were treated with Cansha Powder with hot medicated compress while the observation group were treated with Cansha Powder with hot medicated compress.Results:After treatment,the circumference of knee joint,Visual Analogue Scale(VAS score),The Western Ontarioand McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index Scale(WOMAC score),serum IL-6 level and average temperature of infrared thermography were improved in both groups(P＜0.05)and the improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Cansha Powder with hot medicated compress combined with Wangbi Tablet with oral administration is effective in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis with cold-dampness obstruction type.
