Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with Wushao Qutong Powder on renal colic.Methods:Sixty cases were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The observation group were treated with wrist-ankle acupuncture and Wushao Qutong Powder,while the control group were treated with parecoxib sodium.Results:The VAS scores of the observation group at the time points of 0.5,1 and 24 hours after treatment and those of the control group at the time points of 1 and 24 hours after treatment decreased(P＜0.05).The time of pain relief in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05),and the incidence of adverse reactions was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Wrist-ankle acupuncture and Wushao Qutong Powder could quickly relieve renal colic with less adverse reactions.
