Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Eliminating Phlegm and Clearing Heat Decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of acne with phlegm heat stagnation in exterior type.Methods:A total of 100 cases were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,50 cases in each group.The control group were treated with Capsule for Moisturizing Dryness to Relieve Itching and Vitamin A Cream,while the observation group were treated with Eliminating Phlegm and Clearing Heat Decoction combined with acupuncture and bloodletting.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the skin lesion score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The TCM syndrome scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment and the observation group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Eliminating Phlegm and Clearing Heat Decoction combined with acupuncture is effective and safe in the treatment of acne with phlegm heat stagnation in exterior type.
