Objective:To observe the effect of traditional Chinese medicine intervention on maternal postpartum rehabilitation. Methods:Eighty cases were divided into two groups by double chromosphere method,40 cases in each group. The control group received routine postpartum intervention while the observation group received routine postpartum intervention and traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation therapy. Results:The first exhaust time, the first defecation time and the recovery time of bowel sounds in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).One week after delivery, the remission rate of maternal fatigue in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).One week after delivery, the lactation volume of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).One week after delivery, the height of uterine descent in the observation group was higher and the amount of vaginal bleeding and TCM syndrome score were lower. The difference was statistically significant compared with the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Conventional intervention combined with traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation therapy could further shorten the time of postpartum rehabilitation, better reduce postpartum fatigue, improve lactation, promote uterine decline and reduce vaginal bleeding.
