Objective:To observe the effect of General Pain Stasis-Expelling Decoction in the treatment of residual neurological symptoms after lumbar disc herniation. Methods:A total of 100 cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method. The control group were treated with neurotropin while the observation group were treated with General Pain Stasis-Expelling Decoction. Results:After treatment, the VAS scores of the two groups decreased(P<0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the JOA scores of the two groups increased(P<0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the nylon rope scores of the two groups increased(P<0.05),and the observation group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of hs-CRP,CPK and IL-6 in the two groups decreased, and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of plasma viscosity, whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood low shear viscosity and erythrocyte aggregation index in the two groups decreased(P<0.05),and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of pain in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the total effective rate of numbness was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:General Pain Stasis-Expelling Decoction could improve residual neurological symptoms such as pain and numbness after lumbar disc herniation, improve limb function, improve hemorheological indexes and reduce serum inflammatory cytokine levels.
