Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture combined with low-frequency electrical stimulation on swallowing dysfunction after acute cerebral infarction(ACI).Methods:Ninety-two cases were randomly divided into group A and B,with 46 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with low-frequency electrical stimulation therapy, and group A were treated with acupuncture. Results:The total effective rate of group A was higher than that of group B(P<0.05).After treatment, the scores of the Watian drinking water test and SSA in group A were lower than those in group B(P<0.05).After treatment, the AEMG of the subhyoid muscle group and submental muscle group in group A was lower than that in group B,and the duration was shorter than that in group B(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of ALB,PA and Hb in group A were higher than those in group B(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum IGF-1,VEGF and BDNF in group A were higher than those in group B(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with low-frequency electrical stimulation is effective in the treatment of swallowing dysfunction after ACI.
