Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Cangfu Daotan Pills combined with acupuncture in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome with spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness.Methods:Seventy-five cases were divided into the experimental group(38 cases)and the control group(37 cases)according to the random number table method.The control group were treated with conventional western medicine,while the experimental group were treated with Cangfu Daotan Pills combined with acupuncture.Results:The total effective rate and ovulation rate in the experimental group were higher than in the control group(P<0.05).The TCM syndrome score,hormone level,ovarian volume,and incidence of adverse drug reactions in the experimental group were lower than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Cangfu Daotan Pills combined with acupuncture is effective in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome with spleen deficiency and phlegm dampness type,which could increase ovulation rate and reduce ovarian volume,with fewer adverse reactions.
