Objective:To observe the effect of Simiao Yong'an Decoction combined with laser intracavitary closure in the treatment of varicose veins of lower extremities.Methods:Eighty-four cases were randomly divided into two groups,with 42 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with laser intracavitary closure,and the observation group were treated with Simiao Yong'an Decoction in addition.Results:After treatment,the VCSS score and AVVQ score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05),and the BI score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,HBV,PV,LBV and FIB in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of skin itching,soreness and pain,skin pigmentation and thirst without desire to drink in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of quality of life in all fields in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The complications in the observation group were less than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Simiao Yong'an Decoction combined with laser intracavitary closure could improve the curative effect and reduce complications in the treatment of varicose veins of lower extremities.
