Objective:To observe the curative effect of Chinese medicine hot compress combined with micro-needle knife superficial fascia layer lysis in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA)of cold dampness type.Methods:Ninety-two cases were randomly divided into two groups, with 46 cases in each group. The control group were treated with micro needle knife superficial fascia layer lysis, while the combined group were treated with micro-needle knife superficial fascia layer lysis and Chinese medicine hot compress. Results:The curative rate of the combined group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the WOMAC,VAS,and syndrome scores of the combined group were lower than those of the control group, while the Lysholm score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the joint space angle, the height-width ratio of the medial femoral condyle, and the height-width ratio of the lateral femoral condyle of the combined group were higher than those of the control group, while the femoral angle was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,IL-1β,TWEAK,CTX-Ⅰ,and TRACP in the combined group were lower than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Chinese medicine hot compress and micro-needle knife superficial fascia release is effective in the treatment of KOA cold-dampness obstruction type.
