Objective:To observe the effect of Taohong Powder in Recipes in Treating Wounds and Bone-setting on dressing change of orthopedic infected wounds.Methods:Forty-six cases were divided into the study group and the control group by random number table method,with 23 cases in each group.The control group were treated with gentamicin gauze,while the study group were treated with Taohong Powder in Recipes in Treating Wounds and Bone-setting.Results:There were significant differences in wound area reduction rate,wound secretion,and wound healing time between the two groups after three weeks(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the number of bacterial strains between the study group and the control group on the 5th and 10th day(P<0.05).From the 10th day,the wound granulation area of the study group was significantly different from that of the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Taohong Powder in Recipes in Treating Wounds and Bone-setting has a good therapeutic effect on infectious wounds in orthopedics and traumatology.
