Objective:To observe the effect of modified Chaihu Shugan Powder on chronic non-atrophic gastritis(CNAG)with liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome.Methods:Eighty cases were randomly divided into two groups,with 40 cases in each group.The control group were treated with omeprazole while the study group were treated with modified Chaihu Shugan Powder.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the quantitative scores of TCM syndromes in the two groups were decreased(P<0.01),and the study group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Chaihu Shugan Powder is effective in the treatment of CNAG with liver stagnation and spleen deficiency syndrome,with less recurrence.
