Objective:To observe the effect of modified Rehmannia Decoction in the treatment of uremic pruritus.Methods:Eighty-six cases were divided into two groups.Forty-four cases in the experimental group were treated with modified Rehmannia Decoction and Forty-two cases in the control group were treated with routine treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the blood calcium level of the two groups was higher than that before treatment,while the TCM syndrome score,PTH,blood phosphorus,urea nitrogen and creatinine were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The blood calcium level of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,while the TCM syndrome score and PTH,blood phosphorus,urea nitrogen and creatinine were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Rehmannia Decoction is effective in the treatment of uremic pruritus.
