Objective:To observe the effect of acupoint application combined with abdominal hot compress with Chinese medicine on gastrointestinal dysfunction after acute appendicitis.Methods:A total of 106 cases were randomly divided into two groups.Both groups were treated with routine western medicine,and the observation group were treated with acupoint application and abdominal hot compress with Chinese medicine in addition.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The recovery time of gastrointestinal function in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint application combined with abdominal hot compress with Chinese medicine could improve the curative effect of gastrointestinal dysfunction after acute appendicitis.
