Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture and scraping therapy combined with cervical traction in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Methods:Ninety cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with cervical traction,and the study group were treated with acupuncture and scraping therapy in addition.Results:The total effective rate,cervical joint mobility and cervical spondylosis clinical symptom evaluation scale(CASCS)score of the study group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).The levels of procalcitonin(PCT),C-reactive protein(CRP),white blood cell count(WBC),neck dysfunction index(NDI)and pain index(VAS)scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The disappearance time of root pain,the disappearance time of limb numbness and the recovery time of grip strength were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture and scraping therapy combined with cervical traction is effective in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.
