Objective:To observe the curative effect of bloodletting along meridians combined with acupuncture in the treatment of cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type.Methods:Sixty cases were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 30 cases in each group.The observation group were treated with bloodletting along the bladder meridian of the foot sun along the neck and then acupuncture at Ashi point and cervical Jiaji point,while the control group were treated with acupuncture at Ashi point and cervical Jiaji point.Results:After treatment,the scores of cervical vertigo symptoms and functional assessment scale were improved in both groups(P<0.05),and the improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Bloodletting along meridians combined with acupuncture is effective in treating cervical spondylosis of vertebral artery type.
