Objective:To observe the effect of five-element acupuncture combined with auricular point pressing pills in the treatment of post-stroke depression.Methods:Eighty cases were randomly divided into the control group and the study group,with 40 cases in each group.The control group were treated with routine acupuncture and moxibustion while the study group were treated with five-element acupuncture combined with auricular point pressing pills.Results:After treatment,HADS-A and HADS-D in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the level of Cor in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the level of neuropeptide Y was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the NIHSS of the study group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),while the Brathel index was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Five-element acupuncture combined with auricular point pressing pills in the treatment of post-stroke depression could effectively relieve anxiety and depression,enhance confidence,improve neurological deficits,and promote the improvement of daily living ability.
