Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture combined with Shao's press-kneading-stretching method in the treatment of congenital muscular torticollis(CMT)in children.Methods:Sixty cases were divided into two groups according to the odd and even number method,with 30 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with acupuncture and moxibustion,and the observation group were treated with Shao's press-kneading-stretching method.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the cervical passive joint activity of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the mass area and mass thickness of the two groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with Shao's press-kneading-stretching method could improve the curative effect in the treatment of CMT.
