Objective:To observe the curative effect of floating needle combined with stretching manipulation in the treatment of congenital muscular torticollis(CMT).Methods:Sixty cases were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,with 30 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with stretching manipulation,and the observation group were treated with floating needle in addition.Results:The clinical symptom scores of the two groups were decreased after treatment(P<0.05),and the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the difference of SCM thickness and the ratio of SCM thickness decreased in both groups(P<0.05).The observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Floating needle combined with stretching manipulation is effective in the treatment of CMT.
