Objective:To observe the clinical effect of modified Erchen Decoction in the treatment of intractable hiccup.Methods:A total of 126 cases were divided into experimental group and control group according to random number table,with 63 cases in each group.The experimental group were treated with modified Erchen Decoction,and the control group were treated with metoclopramide.Results:The onset time of the experimental group was shorter than that of the control group.The improvement of symptoms was better than that of the control group,and the total effective rate was higher than that of the control group.The differences between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Erchen Decoction is effective in the treatment of intractable hiccup.
