Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Kidney-tonifying and Essence-strengthening Decoction combined with acupuncture in the treatment of male oligoasthenospermia.Methods:A total of 122 cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,with 61 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with acupuncture and the study group were treated with Kidney-tonifying and Essence-strengthening Decoction in addition.Results:The total effective rate,semen volume,sperm concentration,sperm motility,the level of FSH and LH and testosterone concentration in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the TCM syndrome score in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Kidney-tonifying and Essence-strengthening Decoction combined with acupuncture is effective in the treatment of male oligoasthenospermia.
