Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture for restoring consciousness and inducing resuscitation on acute cerebral infarction.Methods:Eighty-six cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,43 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with conventional western medicine and Huatan Tongluo Decoction,and the study group were treated with acupuncture for restoring consciousness and inducing resuscitation.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The limb motor function(FMA)score of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The levels of procalcitonin(PCT)and C-reactive protein(CRP),TCM syndrome scores,and neurological deficit assessment scale(NIHSS)scores were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The anterior cerebral artery blood flow velocity(ACA)and basilar artery blood flow velocity(BA)were faster than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture for restoring consciousness and inducing resuscitation is effective and safe in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction.
