Objective:To observe the efficacy of Xiyanping Injection in the treatment of ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP)in intensive care unit(ICU).Methods:Sixty-four cases were randomly divided into two groups,32 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with fiberoptic bronchoscopy,and the observation group was treated with Xiyanping injection.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of white blood cell count(WBC),C-reactive protein(CRP),procalcitonin(PCT),interleukin-6(IL-6)and clinical pulmonary infection score(CPIS)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion:Xiyanping injection is effective and safe in the treatment of VAP.
