Objective:To observe the effect of acupuncture combined with Shao's manipulation in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Methods:Ninety-eight cases were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,49 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with acupuncture,and the study group were treated with Shao's manipulation.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The plasma viscosity,high shear whole blood viscosity,low shear whole blood viscosity and hematocrit of the two groups decreased after treatment(P＜0.05),and those of the study group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of IL-1β and TNF-α in the two groups decreased(P＜0.05),and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).The VAS and ODI scores of the two groups decreased after treatment(P＜0.05),and the study group was lower than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with Shao's manipulation is effective in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation.
