Objective:To observe the clinical effect of symptomatic acupotomy in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Methods:A total of 100 cases were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group were treated with acupuncture treatment while the treatment group were treated with symptomatic acupotom.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The VAS score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The NDI index of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Symptomatic acupotomy could accurately locate the key nodes of the lesion in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy,which has fewer releasing parts than conventional acupotomy,with less discomfort and better clinical efficacy.
