Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Qingjie Powder combined with ear apex bloodletting in the treatment of hordeolum with syndrome of superficies attacked by wind-heat.Methods:Eighty cases were randomly divided into two groups.Both groups were treated with Qingjie Powder,and the observation group were treated with ear apex bloodletting in addition.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the symptoms and signs of the eyes of the observation group were lower than those of the control group,and the diameter of the lump was smaller than that of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).The recurrence rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Qingjie Powder combined with ear apex bloodletting is effective and safe in the treatment of with syndrome of superficies attacked by wind-heat.
