Objective:To observe the effect of modified Guizhi Decoction combined with acupoint application in the treatment of hyperemesis gravidarum of spleen and stomach asthenia type.Methods:Ninety cases were randomly divided into two groups,with 45 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with acupoint application,and the observation group were treated with modified Guizhi Decoction in addition.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The time of antiemetic,urine ketone body turning negative and electrolyte returning to normal of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).The scores of nausea and vomiting,vomiting immediately after eating,abdominal distension,dizziness,body tiredness and laziness were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The Nausea and Vomiting of Pregnancy Quality of Life(NVP QOL)Questionnaire score of pregnancy nausea and vomiting was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Guizhi Decoction combined with acupoint application is effective in the treatment of hyperemesis gravidarum with spleen and stomach asthenia type.
